Where Heaven and Earth Meet

Section A: Where Heaven and Earth Meet.

In this section you are inspired to connect your Earthly needs with Heaven's provision through faith filled prayer. Very often, God's people are not destroyed through a lack of prayers, but a lack of scriptural knowledge about prayer. Read how to base your prayer life on the Word and get answers every time! The following excerpt highlights the importance of praying the Word:

Praying with the Word

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1 John 5:14-15

When you use the prayers in the various focus areas of this “Where Heaven and Earth Meet”, you will be praying according to the Word. God’s word is the language of prayer, the medium of exchange in the relationship between God and His children. It is true that God’s people perish not for a lack of prayers but for a lack of knowledge of His will.

Most Christians pray, but even though they may be entirely sincere, their prayers are ‘off target’ at times because they are not based on the Word. The solution of course, is to get the Word solidly built into your heart so that it will come out in prayer, not matter the circumstance.

When prayer is scriptural, God is put in remembrance of His covenant promises that He has made. It is these promises that He is committed to watching over to make them come to pass in your life as you stand in faith.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…

        Colossians 3:16

Section B: Powerful Prayer.

Here you are provided with an anointed scriptural prayer list covering key areas that God wants to meet our needs in. You learn to cover your personal life in prayer, as well as praying for those in authority, the nation, your local church leadership, family and friends who may need to get saved. This excerpt focuses on 'healing and health' and also 'financial well being':

For Healing and Health

3 John 2

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the covenant of healing You have made with me, and rejoice that You delight in my total well being: spirit, soul and body.

Lord Jesus, I recognize that You bore the stripes of suffering on Your back so that I might be healed and walk in Divine health.

As I attend to Your Word I know that it will be health to my body and strength to my bones.

I chose to watch my tongue and only speak words of wisdom that promote health.

Amen.

For Financial Well Being

Psalm 37:4

Dear Heavenly Father,

I rejoice that You delight in my material well being or prosperity.

As I participate in supporting the work of the gospel through financial giving, I know that You have promised to supply all my needs according to Your riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

My desire is to establish and extend Your Kingdom on earth through my faithful practical support. I give willingly and cheerfully, and know that You will always cause the righteous to be blessed.

Grant me the wisdom to be wise stewards of the resources You release to me in Jesus Name.

Amen.
